I just Figured it out 100% - This is how to do it - Keep best of both Worlds. I am a Genius!!!!

WEEK 1 of Playoffs - Keep Traditional Matchups:

Happens 2nd week of December

Conference Champions Games

Big 10 (Ohio State) vs Pac 10 (USC)
ACC (Va. Tech) vs Big East (W. Virginia)
SEC (LSU) vs Big 12 (Oklahoma)
At Large (Georgia) v. At Large (Missouri)

Then Jan 1 is Final 4

This Year Jan 1 would have looked like:

Final 4:

Rose Bowl - Ohio State V LSU
Orange Bowl - Georgia V. W. Virginia

Conference Loser Games -

Sugar Bowl - USC vs. Oklahoma
Fiesta Bowl - Missouri v. Va Tech

This keeps your Big Bowls - does not devalue them because there really is little value in them now. Conference Losers, unworthy teams make these games in the current scenario. This way - you win conference - you win Jan 1 game. PERIOD. You know where you are going early enough to plan and at least _ of traditional matchups stay in the game.

Around Jan 14 - Play the Championship Game.

Every other year a Bowl has a Final 4 game - And they rotate the National Championship game.

This is it - I am publishing it now!
